MISS
CONGO BRAZZAVILLE UK 2005- ASSISTING THE ORPHANS OF
BRAZZAVILLE
Centre
for Multi Cultural Development & Integration UK (CENMUD)
has put together plans to presents "Miss Congo
Brazzaville UK 2005". Miss Congo Brazzaville UK
is the first beauty pageant in its kind, in which the
event is being hosted to raise funds to support the
Orphans of Brazzaville.
Ten
beautiful ladies will be representing and promoting
Congo Brazzaville's rich traditions and customs.
VIP
Guests include Sport Personalities such as Claude
Makelele, JJ Okocha and Celestine Babayaro as well as
entertainment from "Xtreme Musica" and
Gospel sensation "Heaven Above".

Organiser, Syvie Blanche Nkou, states "Raising
the profile of Congo Brazzaville is very important,
when I tell people I am from Congo Brazzaville, many
of them say they have never heard of the place (yet
they are very familiar with Kinshasa); Brazzaville is
a beautiful place, but they are so many orphans due to
the tribal war, so we us a community (worldwide) need
to support these orphans by raising funds which will
equip them with the bare essentials (such as clothes,
food, and educational materials).
Our event is being hosted to raise funds for
orphans".
Miss
Congo Brazzaville UK takes place on Saturday 30th July
2005 at the Royal House Guard Thistle Hotel, 1
Whitehall Place, Westminster, London SW1 from 5pm -
11.30 pm.
The
programme aims at helping orphans in Brazzaville.
