Namibia's independence celebration in London By Rosa Hango
NAMIBIA'S 18th independence anniversary celebration in London was hosted on Saturday March 22, 2008 at the City of London College Graduate Centre. Organised by the Association of Namibians in the United Kingdom (ANUK), the event was attended by the Namibian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, His Excellency George Liswaniso, representatives from the Friends of Namibia Association and a large number of Namibians living in the UK. There were a number of Namibian cultural and traditional musical performances, and indigenous food and drinks.
