HOUSE OF DIVINE DESTINY SHOWS APPRECIATION TO GOD

Getting ready for any kind of anniversary but preparation and indeed cerebrating church planting anniversary could be more joyous for the simple reason that souls had been won for the kingdom of God.

The approach of an anniversary is an appropriate time to look back and celebrate the congregation's founding, its history, its ministry to people and to the community. This time of celebration of the second anniversary of the Apostolic Church of Divine Destiny was  a time for serious reflection and spiritual awakening. It prompted members and non-members alike to reflect on the past and then look forward to the future with renewed vision, hope, confidence, and commitment.

The very fact that the church has continued through the last two years says something very fundamental to the people of London and beyond.

This year's cerebration, like last year was centred on raising funds for the acquisition of a permanent place of worship. Currently the church with well over 400 members congregate in school at various locations throughout London with the main one at the Central Park School on the Central Park road in East Ham.

Led by the one of London's most renowned radio evangelist, Evangelist Justice Kofi Anan, the church started with the organisation of very few scatted members of the Apostolic church.

With time and more spiritual programmes the church has now grown from strength to strength. Now the pioneers can boast the lord of many more members forming four branches of the church in London.

Preaching the sermon to mark the anniversary, Evangelist Annan called on all Christians to always show appreciation to the Lord for both the mighty and the little things he does in their lives.

He was of the view that God needs to be worshiped in very decent places to exhibit reverence and respect to the Creator of heaven and earth.

A special anniversary cake was cut to commemorate the day.
