Barbados To Host 2006 Tourism Expo at Olympia
The Barbados Investment and Development Corporation, in association with the Barbados Tourism Authority and the Barbados High Commission, will be hosting the 2006 Barbados Expo at the London Olympia Exhibition Centre on 18-20 August.
The demand for the re-launch of this Barbados exhibition follows the extremely successful Barbados Expos of 1997, 98 and 99. The event will again showcase Barbadian products and services to nationals and non-nationals resident in the United Kingdom. It will also be an ideal forum for Barbadians living in Britain to gather information on the services and investment opportunities which are available on the island.
In order to encourage bi-lateral trade and strategic alliances between Barbados and the UK, the exhibition will be open exclusively to business people and potential buyers, and the event is expected to attract thousands more visitors than before over the two day period.
Exhibition stands will be available in sizes 6, 9, 10, 12 and 18 sq metres at £175.00 per sq metre. This cost is exclusive of electricity, furniture and any other fittings required by the
exhibitors. Exhibitors are also invited to promote their products and services in the commemorative brochure which is being produced for the event.
