UK SECURITY FIRM TO OPERATE IN EAST AFRICA

A UK-based security firm, Blue Hackle Group, has launched operations in East Africa.
Michael Raper, the chief executive officer, said that they were attracted to the region because of the increasing investments. |
"We have chosen to headquarter Blue Hackle East Africa in Kampala because the continuing trend of investments and development within Uganda has ensured that government offices, local authorities and businesses recognise more than ever the growing value of genuinely high-quality security."
During the launch at the Kampala Serena Hotel, the defence minister, Dr. Crispus Kiyonga, said the private sector has a key role to play in the country's security.
