Angolan Airlines starts Luanda/São Tome/Lisbon Flights

ANGOLAN Airlines (TAAG) will be starting their operation on the Luanda/São Tome/Lisbon route from the middle of February this year. This follows a partnership arrangement which was signed with the Sao Tome and Principe Airways.

According to a note from the company, the accord aims at strengthening friendship and trade among those Portuguese speaking countries. The inaugural ceremony took place in Sao Tome's capital, with the landing of a TAAG aircraft on the local runway, symbolising a partnership that stems from a general accord of cooperation between Angola and São Tomé & Príncipe.

The route will operate twice a week (Monday and Friday), with departures from Luanda at 07:00 pm and arrival in the archipelago at 08:45 pm, leaving at 04: 45 am the following day for Lisbon.
