Angola visits 30th Annual Council of African Ports
ANGOLA has recently attended the 30th Annual Council and the 6th Round Table of the Port Management Association of West and Central Africa (PMAWCA) in Praia city, Cape Verde. A delegation headed by the chairman of Luanda Port managing board, S’lvio Barros Vinhas, who is also PMAWCA acting president, travelled to Praia city.
At the meeting, which will go under the motto of "Development of the West and Central Africa Interior Currents - Opportunities and Challenges", Angola is to relay its PMAWCA chair to Gambia, according to a Luanda Port source. Among the various matters discussed by the Council was the constitution of the new director's committee bureau, the general secretariat programme of activity for this year and the reports from the various committees of
speciality.
