High market trading on the Ghana Stock Exchange

AFTER eighteen rounds of market trading, the total volume and value traded stood at 384,024 shares and ¢2,327,095,602 respectively. Volume traded was up 4.312% over volume traded in the previous session. Value traded also came up 4.530% compared to the previous trading session.

A total volume of 358,000 Ghana Commercial Bank Limited shares was traded by volume, forming 93% of total shares traded.

Its value traded was also ¢2,219,600,000 forming 95% of values traded, making GCB the most traded by volume and value.

Anglogold depository shares, was the second most traded equity by both value and volume, with a value of ¢29,877,250 (about 1% of value). Total shares traded in AAD's came to 9,193(2%).
