Trading on the Ghanaian Stock Exchange very active

TRADING on the Ghanaian bourse was very active. After fifteen rounds of trading, volume and value traded were 219,067 and ¢287,062,488 respectively. Four rounds of trading, which resulted in a total volume of 189,865 shares made Cocoa Processing Company the most traded equity in terms of volumes traded, CPC's value traded however fell to third place with a value of ¢102,147,370.

Total volume of shares traded in HFC Bank was 34,300 making it the second most traded equity on the GSE, the equity however had the highest value of trades ¢185,220,000. SG-SSB was the third most traded equity with a volume and value of 18,235 and ¢109,410,000 respectively.

Altogether Agro-processing stocks had the most trades with volumes of 189,865 (86%) of total volumes traded.
