DSE post turnover of TZS7.52 million

THE DSE has posted a total turnover of TZS 7.52 million from 10,442 shares traded in 23 deals. In the previous session a total turnover of TZS 968.69 million was recorded from 811,389 shares traded in 66 deals. The two counters that were active were the TWIGA counter which had 8,342 shares traded at TZS 720 per share in 19 deals, and the SWISSPORT counter which had 2,100 shares traded at TZS 720 per share in 4 deals.

At the end of the session, the TWIGA counter had 20,500 shares on bid at TZS 680 and TZS 720 per share. The TATEPA counter had 113,500 shares on offer at TZS 420 and TZS 415 per share. TBL had 6,900 shares on bid at TZS 1,580 per share, and TOL had 48,300 shares on offer at TZS 300 per share.

Other counters such as the KA counter (1,500 shares on offer at TZS 1,600 cum div. per share) the TCC counter (105,200 shares on offer at TZS 1,400 and TZS 1,500 per share), and the SIMBA counter (1,200 shares on bid at TZS 1,200 per share) allowed the DSE Share Index to close at 1011.96.
