Nigeria Stock Exchange to redesign its trading floor
The Nigerian Stock Exchange has said that it plans to redesign its Lagos trading floor to meet international standards.
Director General and Chief Executive Officer of the NSE, Dr. Ndi Okereke-Nyiuke, said work on the trading floor would commence by Christmas.
She said that once work commences, trading on the floor is expected to commence at the completion of the project by first week of February.
Stockbrokers would be recalled to the trading floor after system assurance test has been conducted on the equipments that would be used in the new trading floor.
