Levi’s “jerk centre” booked for up for weeks

THE MAN who has invented the Reggae Reggae Sauce is set to entice the restaurant public by opening his first restaurant. However, if your name’s not on the list you won’t be able to get a seat in Levi Roots’ ‘jerk centre’ for quite some time because the tables are fully booked for the next few months.

Levi, who shot to fame thanks to his appearance on the BBC’s Dragon’s Den, a programme for would-be entrepreneurs, is now the proud owner of the south west London restaurant.

Levi seems to have become a national success and it appears his restaurant is following suit, He said in a recent interview: “We are fully booked at the moment, but this restaurant is the first of many to come.” His Reggae Reggae Sauce, which is down to Levi’s grandmother’s secret recipe, has been the talk of the nation since his appearance on the show “This is the first time a black man has had this kind of profile in the business world and I just thank God it was me. I intend on opening up a new branch every six months and my next stop is Brixton where I grew up,” he said.
