BIRMINGHAM CITY COUNCIL MAKE PROVISION FOR COURIER SERVICES

Birmingham City Council are inviting suitably qualified and experienced transport contractor organisations to tender for the provision of Courier Services for local regular and ad-hoc services between Birmingham City Council buildings and offices.

In a recent press release, the council said that National Courier Services and any courier services to Non-Council organisations will be ordered on an ad-hoc basis. BCC believe that this could be a wonderful opportunity local BME companies to get on the Council's roster.

The contract is due to commence on the 1st July 2007, and run for a maximum period of 2 years with an option to extend for a further year. The estimated value of the contract is £120,000 per annum dependent on usage of the service. If you are interested in tendering for this contract then contact the Council.
