European Commission recognises value of
www.supply2.gov.uk to BMEs

A new official interpretative document published by the European Commission has uniquely recognised the new UK government portal, www.supply2.gov.uk, as a best practice means of public authorities advertising their lower-value contracts to small and minority businesses.
The portal complies with the reasoned opinion of the EC that public bodies should ensure competition in all their procurement exercises, irrespective of value. The publication of this document will no doubt result in an increase in the number of public sector buyers using the site, making it the perfect time for suppliers to register for free. |
By registering on the site, suppliers will be able to:
