ABA FOODS COOKING UP QUALITY PRODUCTS
 |
ABA Foods, a company specialising in quality African food products, is steadily gaining popularity in the mainstream markets throughout Britain. The company produces corn dough and spicy sauces, which are being snapped up by customers the moment they are delivered to over 300 retail outlets across the country.
ABA Foods was established in 2002 by Betsy Odame-Labi, an enterprising business woman of Ghanaian origin. Betsy possess all of the necessary ingredients for establishing a successful business; integrity, a highly competitive spirit, and solid business acumen. |
The company's order books are full and new machinery is being put into place to meet the increasing demand for her products.
She says: "My first piece of machinery was created by an Indian manufacturer. I took my designs across to India and they built a system to exactly meet my requirements. That system is still working."
Presently, Betsy is on the look out for potential business partners, to help her to expand and grow. In addition to her role as a business woman, Betsy also works to help Ghanaian traders. She is the general secretary of the Ghana Traders Association (GTA), which aims to promote fair trade for Ghanaian traders.
