What is Miss Black Britain UK?

Miss Black Britain UK is the first national black integrated beauty contest in the UK, allowing all black origins to compete along side each other, making the contest culturally diverse and unique. Miss BB UK aims to close the gap in the division within black British communities and unite and educate the cultural differences and embrace them.
Miss BB UK is a platform for young woman to showcase their talents, express, and promote themselves on. The development and support for young black women in the UK is under represented, Miss BB UK will help raise the profile for young black women and will provide positive media for urban culture as a whole.
The winner of Miss Black Britain UK will go on to the final of Miss England 2006 to compete for the title of Miss England, to compete in Miss World 2006. The first prize for Miss World is $100,000. The winner of Miss England will receive an all expenses paid trip to Miss World There are prizes for the winner of Miss Black Britain UK 2006, which
include qualification to the Miss England 2006 Final, a cash prize, a holiday and more.
Why?
There are hundreds of black beautiful young women in the UK that are talented but do not get the exposure they need and deserve. Miss BB UK will help with the development
Of young black women and help launch them on to greater success in their chosen career path.
