Everyone has a gift, an ability that they have been blessed with and this gift tends to be the element within each person’s life that brings out the best in us, by using our gifts we feel relaxed and with that we have the ability to openly express ourselves.
For many people in the world it is hard to find the inspiration to enhance their gifts, now that could be for a number of reasons, in most cases it tends to be a mental block where individual’s fail to believe that they have gifts to offer to the world and it is this self-hatred and disbelief that stops them and the gifts from developing.

However once you find that gift and you begin to open yourself to it and become aware of your true being you then set in motion the maturing of both yourself and the nurturing of your gift. It is truly a shame when an individual, be it young or old stops themselves from opening up and expressing their creativity, especially when they clearly have something to offer. If it’s okay with you I would like to share my gift with you, just a way to express myself, when I have views and opinions lingering in my head.
I wake up in the morning full of ideas as I slowly reflect on the passing of the years. The essence of life and the beauty of growth. Taking note of the things I cherish the most, love from my family, strength from my friends.
Important relationships that will never end Whenever I’m am stressed I pick up my pen. And begin to write about the exploits of men crime, discrimination, racism and war The rich get richer while the poor stay poor.If we open our eyes it is clear to seeThat human nature is a disease that exists within you and me.Though, my words sound harsh, I’m just stating the truth.If the world is dying then we are the proof.
Now I’m going to change the mood to take you off guard Remember life is a journey and trust me it’s hard
Never take people for granted, be honest and play your part Then hopefully your inspiration will blossom in your heart.I’ve always loved to write and over the years it has been a great way for me to convey my views and myself whether I can. And if I’m going to be completely honesty then I must say that I have been blessed to have the opportunity to both develop my writing skills and get the relevant exposure to showcase my work. And if it weren’t for my English teacher Mrs Robinson helping me to both notice and nurture this ability to write and for everyone at The African Echo, giving me the chance to write for them and continue learning and improving I wouldn’t be the writer that I am today.
Because when I was younger I too, much like most people today didn’t notice I had a gift and I was too afraid to explore it as failure held too much of a burden on my mind. However though failure can stop us from progressing as people, we shouldn’t let it hold us back from exploring who we are, because though failure can be a burden, regret can be even worse.
