BORN into a world through such a scared union. But your failure to mature has put in motion the wheels of you ruin.
2nd Childhood
Around you your friends take their steps forward in search of the answers they must find. You remain glued to ignorance and impulsiveness, factors that control your mind.
2nd Childhood
Growing and learning was never truly part of your master plan. Your plan consists of drugs, crime and dirty money being placed within your hand.
2nd Childhood
You stand on the street corners watching the world pass you by. How things could be so different if only some direction you would apply.
2nd Childhood
Your excuse is the streets keep calling you and with that you always answer its call. You demand respect as though it should be given not earned, your mentality is small.
2nd Childhood
You perpetuate black stereotypes from the way you talk to the clothes you wear. Your loved ones offer you guidance so why do you fail to hear?
2nd Childhood
To you success is failure because in your eyes you're keeping it real. The only realness is your failure I'm sorry but that's just how I feel.
2nd Childhood
The years have flown by and I cannot see any form of progression. You are a stranger to those who knew you as your love is replaced with aggression.
2nd Childhood
Your potential still exists however it's up to you to improve your health, your living proof that you cannot help those who can't help themselves.
2nd Childhood
Everyone is destined for greatness; you just have to turn on your light. The streets are filled with darkness and they have begun to consume your sight.
2nd Childhood
And although you may see these as just words this is deeper then just the rhymes Take the time to discover who you are and the truth will give you the chance for a 2nd Childhood
